Hello my PA108 Neighbor,
Please join me at my house (424 W 3rd St) this coming Sunday from 3-7, for a chance to meet your neighbors and eat some really good food. In addition to traditional pizzas, I’ll be making several gourmet pizzas with ingredients like pesto, peach, corn, blue cheese, curry, kimchi – you name it! I can even make vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free or whatever you need. I’ll also have some stuff for kids of all ages to enjoy making big bubbles. Best of all, the blackberries on the 3rd St trail that we worked on this spring are ripening up nicely. Bring a container to take some home. If you’d like to bring a side dish, outdoor game, or lawn chair, please do. If not, your presence is the greatest gift you can bring. See you on Sunday!
(I’ll be inviting the local primary winners for you to meet. No speeches, just mingling)


As you can see, last Saturday, we had a wonderful time dressing my truck up for the Joyce Daze Parade. I had so much fun making big bubbles as we marched along. Watching the kids light up as rainbow bubbles floated by was extra special!
I’m looking forward to doing it again at Makah Days on August 24 and I’d love to have you join the fun! The best part is that we’re invited to a special salmon cookout after the parade!

In the meantime, we have a booth at the county fair on August 15-18. Please stop by to say Hi. I’m scheduled for Saturday from 1-5.

The Democratic Convention on August 19-22 promises to be very exciting and inspirational. To help us capture the excitement that Kamala and Gov. Walz bring, Clallam Democrats are going to have the convention up on their big screen TV every evening. Come join your fellow Democrats for a fun filled convention week at CCD HQ at 124 W 1st St August 19-22 from 4-9PM.

Here’s a few quick reminders to mark on your calendar.
The CCD Picnic is on Saturday September 14, noon-4PM at 337 Deer Tracks Rd. Port Angeles. We’re providing burgers, brats, veggie burgers, drinks, and games. Please bring a folding lawn chair, a side dish, and your beautiful smile.
CCD Roosevelt Lunch: Saturday October 12, 7 Cedars – more details to come
